A different sort of bird

We took a drive in the rain.
We went to see the Spruce Goose.

The Evergreen Aviation Museum
contained many airplanes.

I did see birds.
Birds I do not know.

It rains in Portland, Oregon in December.

We are in the middle of a winter cribbage tourney.

We do not mind the rain.

We *envy* your visit to the Evergreen Aviation Museum.

Rain and Christmas lights make for a striking photo op!

Glad to see you have dropped by, for a visit here. Keep on with your enjoying and your cribbage tourney. :-)

Oh Sherry,

The weather there in Oregon reminds me of Scotland. I've always thought I would love it there.

Have fun playing cribbage.

Love,
Sprite

Looks like some new birds for your life list if you could just get them identified. Have fun and stay dry.

Dear Mari-Nanci,
Seeing the Spruce Goose was amazing! I was overwhelmed by it's size. Beyond huge!
The rain in Portland made the city shimmer, absolutely beautiful.
Our winter cribbage tourney is always so much fun! It doesn't matter who wins, it is just fun to peg.
Hope you are having fun too.
15 for 2, a pair for 4 and Jack matches for 5! We call that nobs!

Dear Mary,
We carried two cameras!
Most of the time I just watched my daughter and son-in-love. They are very fun to be with and enjoy life very much!
This was a quick trip.
I already miss them.

Dear Sprite,
I think rainy days are lovely. I like clouds! There are sunny times too. We spent most of our time laughing!
Hope laughter is filling your ears too.

Dear Marvin,
I never was able to get clear enough photos to really be able to id many of the new to me birds. My daughter knew the names of some.
Seeing the Scrub Jays was fun. The gray skies and the rain also contributed to poor photos. I would like to visit in the spring when I will have better light for pictures.
This trip was really all about seeing the kids. They are the best birds to watch!

My Dearly Beloved taught me how to play cribbage. I am not very good at it but I get to beat him once in awhile.

My family plays Euchre when we gather. Being with family and playing games is such fun...

Dear Lisa,
My husband taught me how to play when we were daters, 36 years ago!
We always have a winter tournament. Our Daughter taught her mate and now the four of us play whenever we are together.
Very fun. Euchre? I have never played. I will have to learn.
We love playing cards by the fire.
