Dear Lisa, We do have a long lens,500mm, but I never think it is long enough. LOL! The Trumpeter was far away when we first saw him. He slowly made his way up to where we were sitting. I was so very happy to see him. It had been ten years since I last saw the Trumpeters. These are my very favorite of all the water fowl. They are still endangered. Thank goodness for Yellowstone Sherry
