Dear Sherry....what a beautiful park.....I love the reflections in the water..... also the reflections of the ducks.......so calming......
I love the daisies.....I have them in my grass....they have not arrived yet, they are waiting for warmer weather.......Poppi and I make daisy necklaces and bracelets every summer.....this year we will make a headdress.......
Dear Cheryl, I thought of you and Poppi when I saw the daisies. I do not have them in my yard...only clover. When my children were young I would sit with them and make clover chains. Maybe you will dry a daisy chain that Poppi makes this summer. Do hope you take a photograph to share. It was very rainy in the Pacific Northwest while we were there. I am pleased to have a few wildlife photographs. When the rain stopped, for about two hours, we took our walk. It clouded up and started misting. I think I need to get rain gear for the cameras! It was cold too! Thank you for sharing my trip. I thought of you often. Sherry
Such lovely ducks! I haven't seen any like those, except the mallard, of course. I am glad you got a few pics between raindrops. LOL! But I'm sure it was warm and cozy with your daughter and son-in-love. The daisies look fresh and spring-like. Welcome home, once again. Namaste
Dear Wendy, It was a lovely park. We stayed for about an hour before heading back to our daughter's house. The four of us play cribbage so after supper each night we had our cribbage tourney. So much fun. I love the sound of my daughter's laughter. I need to hear it more often! Thank you for the welcome home. I am tired but happy. Sherry
