The road home

We said, "Goodbye," to Texas.

We took the back roads in Louisiana

and wiggled our way into Arkansas.

Healing waters and a hot meal sounded delicious!

Bath House Row is the focal point of this National Park.

The Arlington looked intriguing.

This grand old Hotel has many stories.

I wonder who else has taken healing baths and had massages?

I enjoyed mine!

This is a resort town.

Scary stuff!

We brought home a few little reminders of Texas.

We hung our cowboy in the travel room and put our pins into the map.

The photographs are processed.

We will choose one to print and frame.

This was a very fun trip.

Dear Wendy,
Thank you!
It took me a week to get the trip processed! I had so many photographs, over 2,000, and I wanted to only keep the best of the bunch!
I did print a photograph of the Green Jay and found a pretty frame and mat.
There were others that looked good but the Green Jay really says, "Lower Rio Grande Valley."
I am happy to be home.

Gosh Sherry, I thought we had a lot of photos but I think you have us beat. I love all the photos you have shown us. Are you making a photo album too? I plan to. So much to do and so little time.

Dear Lisa,
Since I started digital I print very few photographs. We took over 2,000 photographs. I think I ended up with 500. I do slide shows for the tv! I have a digital picture frame in my kitchen I shall put some pictures on too.
I decided on a Green Jay for my travel room. I printed a 8x10 and framed and matted. I try to do at least one picture for our walls of each trip we take. The journals I keep are also my scrapbooks! I have many!
I am getting ready for our trip to Portland, Oregon! I bet I will have lots of photographs from that adventure too!
Texas was amazing!
I see why you have been many times.
