Swans

We were greeted at Birds of a Feather by a flock of
Mute Swans.

Thanks! Our vacation was lots of fun.
The flock of Swans were so beautiful! In the morning, before breakfast, I watched them preen and feed. Than again at sunset when we would return from our day's adventure I would watch them. So relaxing. I miss the swans.

Oh Sherry, these photos are just perfect! The last with two swans is like a double mirror image :-) Wonderful!

Dear Chris,
The last photo of the two Swans is the photo I choose to print as an 8x10 and frame for our wall in the travel room. I did a mat for the photo as well. It looks very beautiful. It is my favorite photo of our trip. It can remind me of our trip and how my husband and I "swim" together.
In the American Indian tradition people have personal totems. I have adopted this traditon. One of the animals on my totem is the Swan. I hope to continue to learn how to be graceful as I age and walk into my "older" days.

I am speechless. The swans are extraordinary.

The picture of the two together is one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen in my life.

It takes my breath away. I feel such peace.

Love,

Oh, I forgot to say how beautiful the water is in these photos.

It is such an exquisite color setting off the color of the swans so wonderfully.

Thank you!

My Dear Sprite,
I too love the Swans. The blue of the water and the brightness of the Swans does look very pretty. There were the Mute Swans and Whistling Swans. I watched them fly too and their wings made a whistling sound. These are wild Swans with cignets, it was fun to see a family together. At one time we counted fourteen Swans by the dock of the Bed and Breakfast.

This took my breath away. Framable. The lighting was perfect and your eye... Well, you know. I don't think I've EVER seen better swans. You really need to think about publishing...

Bravo, dear Sherry.

Dear Mary,
Thank you! I did like this series. The sun was bright and I used the polerizer filter so I did not get too much glare. These Swans were so friendly. I enjoyed watching them. I think I learned that in all things remain calm. These two were so calm as they swam off other swans and they kept their wings spread as they glided along together. I will remember them forever.
